Active Learning Reflection
Q: Explain how successful you've been throughout this class
. I think I have been very successful in this category. Not once have I forgotten my gym strip, or come late or even be absent for a single day this whole year. I try to be as healthy as possible so I can come to school and in this case, Active Learning to become a greater overall student.
Q:On a daily basis , what would you say your average exertion level has been ? What factors make it higher at times and what makes it lower at times?
2. I think my average exertion level from a scale of 1 to 5 in gym in an usual gym glass would be a 3 or 4. I know I always don`t put the effort in , but I put something in at least. Sometimes I go harder so I can impress my friends , show the teachers what I can do and many other factors , but things that can stop me are things like my friends not going as hard as me , and injuries and much , much more.

Q: How have you done at contributing to the overall positive atmosphere around the class?
3.I think I`ve contributed to my class in man y ways. I keep a positive attitude most of the time , but I will get mad eventually and when I do , I try my best to hold it in so it doesn`t bring a negative attitude to other people.
Q: How have you demonstrated positive leadership this year and/or made a good choice in following a positive role model?
4. I`ve demonstrated positive leadership by cheering people on, setting up equipment , helping people when they got injured and I`ve followed some higher grade kids as they demonstrate to me what a role model is.
Q: What typed of goals have you set for your fitness this year , and how are you doing in these goals?
5.Some types of goals I made for fitness this year was to make the school soccer team which was a success and also drink much more water. I haven`t been the best at keeping that deal though as to me , I`m still not getting as much water as I need.

Q:What is one thing you have learned about your body this year that you didn't know about ?
6. One thing I`ve learned about my body is that you should try to keep a pace if you`re doing something like the beep test. Sometimes I would go for a 1:2 , but other times I would be going at a 1:4 which was problem. It would be better to go at one pace then go at 5 different paces , because your body won`t understand what`s happening.
Q: Based on the above information , what do you believe would be an accurate percentage grade for yourself for your time in PE at this moment?
7. I think an accurate percentage for me would be a overall grade of an A and a 88 or 89 %. I think I deserve this grade because I`ve been doing what I`ve been told to do , but I have screwed up at times .

Q: If the above grade is lower then you would like, what are the steps you feel you will need to do?
8. Next semester , I would like to bump up that grade higher and
steps to that would be to go on my own pace instead of hanging out with my
friends , not giving up and much , much more.

Jora... I think you mostly get it. i see many of the same things as you, but I think I value them differently than you do. You are a funny guy, and a good athlete. There are days where you bring a great positive vibe to others and make our class fun. Your description of areas needing improvement is key for me. As you get used to being at Sullivan and grow out of your elementary school ways, I encourage you to move away from the need to impress your friends with "who cares" attitudes. That seems to be the only thing holding you back is the perception that it isn't cool to try your best or follow through on class needs. If you can flip this you will no doubt have earned an A by June. :)
